Getting to Cardiff
For those looking to visit Cardiff, we’ve outlined some of the various routes here. As the capital of Wales, Cardiff is incredibly easy to reach using a range of transport. Delegates have the choice of travelling directly to Cardiff or going via other UK airports (eg. London) and taking a speedy, reliable connection to the Welsh capital from there.
Cardiff Airport (CWL):
Located just west of the city centre, Cardiff International Airport connects directly to a number of European cities including Paris, Amsterdam and Barcelona. A direct bus service, rail link and taxis will take you to the city centre.
London Airports (LHR, LGW, STN, LTN):
Cardiff is just two hours from London by train or bus, with services departing regularly. International delegates would be well-placed to fly to London (Heathrow, Luton, Stansted or Gatwick) and hop on a quick connection via rail or coach from there.
Manchester Airport (MAN):
Manchester Airport is just a train ride away from Cardiff, with services running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
